  Spooky movies for spooky season

I'll start Kwaidan Four folktales brought to the silver screen, filmed on a soundstage with painted backgrounds to imitate ukiyo-e, this collection of ghost stories leaves you trembling in your wooden sandals. Black Hair A poor samurai leaves his loving wife to seek wealth and power. He regrets his decision and returns to make things right, but fate has something in store for him. Snow Woman A young peasant watches a Snow Woman spirit kill his friend. She spares his life, but warns him not to tell anyone he saw her or she will kill him too. Can he keep the secret? Hoichi the Earless A blind monk with incredible musical talent is selected by a samurai to play for the emperor. The monk cannot see the samurai, the emperor, and his court are vengeful ghosts, who plan to to keep him as entertainment for eternity. In a Cup of Tea A samurai sees a reflection in his tea that is not his own and is beset by cruel spirits driving him to madness. This tale is unfinished, but the transcriber learns why. Beautiful cinematography and an enchanting atmosphere, anytime you're in the mood for ethereal fear this is a great watch.

  RTS, the esoteric peak genre

Personal favorite is Age of Mythology, but the whole AoE series was fun. Can't forget Warcraft and Starcraft. Dawn of War too. The combination of strategy, resource management, and real time combat is incredible for training the mind to make the right decisions quickly.

On Heavy Rotation (what are you listening to?)

I like that the art ledger can also include musics

Personal taste varies. I like a dark roast from South America or Africa, grind the beans and make espresso with a moka pot, boil some water for an americano.

My grandfather would say drink it black unless you have lace on your drawers, but peaters say milk and sugar help regulate absorption. Try a latte or macchiato, see how you like it.

  I love you|2
