Unfix it. Your reading is correct, and serves as reference to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (less is more) and the derivative by Robert Venturi (less is a bore). These quotes are catchy, and so was the original design.

you could make the case that "more" and "less" actually refer to "posting" not "posts", i.e. "user was posting more on x day"
